  • Seekers: Name, email address, phone number, saved properties, and mortgage application details (when submitted).
  • Agencies & Agents: Business details, licencing numbers, profile photos, contact details, properties listed, and CRM integration tokens.
  • Mortgage Brokers: ACL licensing certificates, company credentials, profile details, service states, and lead communication data.

3. Use of Personal Details

We gather and use your personal details strictly for the following purposes:

  • Verifying profiles and preventing fraudulent listings.
  • Enabling communication between seekers, agents, and brokers.
  • Processing secure subscription billing via Stripe.
  • Providing dynamic features such as saving listings or comparing local agents.

4. Data Sharing & Consent

Housing Finder values your privacy. We do not sell your personal data to marketing companies. We only share details with third parties under the following scenarios:

  • Explicit Request: When you submit an enquiry on a property listing or ask a mortgage broker to contact you, your input details are securely forwarded to the respective agent/broker.
  • Service Providers: Sharing billing details with Stripe to handle subscription payment securely.
  • Law Enforcement: If mandated by law, judicial order, or regulatory agency investigation.

5. Security & Storage

Your personal information is hosted on secure cloud servers situated in Australia. We implement robust electronic safety protocols, including SSL encryption, tokenized authentication, and standard database firewalls, to prevent data breaches.

Under the APPs, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask for its correction or erasure.

You can edit your profile details directly in your account dashboard. To request a complete export of your personal information or request data deletion (Right to Be Forgotten), please email our Data Protection Officer.
